UK Food and Drink is Tokyo Bound

Premium British Food Brands head to Japan to Increase Export Sales

As the world’s third largest economy and one of the biggest food importers, Japan is an attractive market for UK business.  With a sophisticated food and drink market, the Japanese consumer looks for quality and heritage imported products.  British food with an authentic story has done well in Japan and the market for British tea, whiskey, biscuits, beer and smoked salmon has flourished in particular.  With the potential for British food and drink in Japan very strong, 31 UK food and drink producers join the UK pavilion stand at Foodex looking to increase export sales to the market.

FOODEX JAPAN is one of the largest international trade shows in Asia specialising in Food & Drink.  Over 71,000 visitors attend the show to see 2,500 exhibitors from 70 countries & regions. The show takes place in  Tokyo’s Makuhari Messe on 7-10 March and PS8 Ltd are pleased to organize the UK pavilion stand once again.

  • .Darvilles of Windsor - A tea range renowned for fine taste and quality, together with a historic Royal Windsor connects.  They are proud to have held the Royal Warrant for 70 years, first granted by King George VI in 1946, and they continue to supply teas to the Royal Household in Windsor Castle
  • Rude Health - Dairy free drinks, breakfast cereals, granolas, mueslis, porridge, oatcakes, rice cakes, snack-bars, sprouted flours
  • English Tea Shop (Nichiei Trading Ltd.) - Fairtrade certified organic tea, adding pop and colourful accents to modern life.
  • AHDB Exports - represents the pig sector in England and can supply quality pork and pig meat products to international markets.
