ANUGA Excels

Our team hosted a bouyant week for UK food and drink exporters in Cologne where we organised stands for over 80 UK producers at ANUGA, all looking to build sales from across the 140,000 international visitors to the show.  Regular established exhibitors joined new challenger brands in a strong UK showcase of innovative, well packaged goods including a strong showing in the dairy hall where we worked with the DEFRA team to create a tasting and sampling area to educate international visitors on UK cheeses.

As over 7,800 exhibitors set up shop at ANUGA, the largest international trade show in Cologne, Germany this month, sustainable growth was the key theme of the show.  With global consciousness around environmental issues and consumers demanding more sustainable products, manufacturers need to meet this demand whilst remaining profitable will be on the right path to achieving success.   The FDEA team were on hand to connect with the trade and signpost to companies able to meet their demands.

We were delighted to create eye-catching, independent stands for leading brands too including Little Moons, Wyke Farms and Dash Water too - a great service we need to shout louder about!

Kevin Hollinrake MP, Minister for Enterprise, Markets and Small Business, visited many of the UK exhibitors with PS8's Sandra Sullivan on Monday.  The Minister was able to spend quality time touring the show and hearing first hand the issues and barriers to export that need addressed.

Cath White, Belvoir Farms was thrilled with the success of the show:  "We had a great Anuga with 16 of our existing customers visiting us, which is so amazing, reinforcing that people are well and truly travelling again!"

Thoughts now turn to our extensive 2024 programme with SIAL now less than one year away!  Connect with us to get booked in!
